Rumored Motorola DVX created for emerging markets

Google-Motorola-Merger-ApprovedAccording to recent rumors, Google and Motorola may have a brand new device in the works. The mystery device has been code-named the DVX, which is slated to follow the Moto X and be an extremely cheap device aimed at emerging markets. This means no Snapdragon 800 CPU with a 4k screen, however don’t let that fool you. If all goes as planned, the DVX could be what is missing in such a tech-savvy world.

Sources for Phone Arena don’t have a lot of information about the DVX quite yet, but they say that it is planned for release later this year, and would be ultra low-cost option for those in the world who don’t have (or can’t afford) smartphones that are currently on the market. In all honesty this really is a smart move for Google. The more people that have smartphones and internet access, the more people are going to bring in money through Google’s ad services. In all honesty, it’s a win-win situation.

This is all we know for now. As soon as we receive any more info on the rumored DVX we will be sure to update you.
